nominated bank along with the application for
performing Hajj within due date
Pilgrims get their Passport, Visa, and Air Tickets, etc.
2- or 3-days before departure from Madinat-ul-Hijjaj (Haji Camp)
Medicines with the Doctor`s prescription
UMRAH & HAJJ
Without reporting the office of Madinat-ul-Hijjaj (Haji Camp)
and attending the Hajj Training Session,
the Pilgrim is not permitted to fly
Pilgrims should acquire the negative PCR Test report of
their Corona Virus from the government authorized
laboratories before 72-hours of their flight
Get vaccination certificate of Meningitis and Flue
from Madinat-ul-Hijjaj (Haji Camp)
The Ministry of Religious Affairs inform normally
after 15-days of the closing date
Successful persons deposit Readable International Passport,
Biometric Report, Copy of CNIC, with the expenses of Hajj
within 7-days in the relevant bank
Ministry of Religious Affair inform the pilgrim about his/her

Note: There are no special Dua (Supplications) for performing the acts of Umrah, a person should recite any Dua, he/she wishes or remembers.
But one should try to perform all the rituals of Umrah and Hajj as closely to how the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) performed.

1. Ghusl / Wudu
Cut the nails,
Trim the moustache,
Shave hair of the armpits,
remove pubic hair,
Have a bath (Ghusl) with
non-perfumed soap
or
just perform Wudu (ablution)
Do tawbah (Repentance)
by heart
I seek forgiveness in Allah from all
my sins and repent to Him
Ihram (Women)
before reaching Meeqat
One of the white sheet (Izar) is wrapped around
the waist, and covers the area between the navel
and feet, the other sheet (Rida) is meant for upper
half of the body, covering shoulders to navel.
Men wear open sandals or slippers.
women wear scarf and gown on simple stitched
clothes, but the cloth should not touch the face.
Women can wear any soft comfortable shoes.

Declare Niyyah (Intention)
of assuming Ihram
Offer two Raka't Nafl
In first raka`t recite Surah Al-Kafiroon
and in second raka`t Surah Al-Aklas
Al-kafiroon is to explicitly declare
renouncement of idol-worshiping,
Al-Aklas focus on tawheed
(monotheism)
Remove Ihram from your head
Note; Don`t offer nafl in forbidden timings
O Allah! I intend to perform Umrah.
Make it easy for me and accept it from me,
and help me in its performing,
make it blessed for me,
I assumed Ihram for you.
4. Niyyah (Intention) 5. Talbiyah (3-Times)
O Allah! I intend to perform Umrah, and
I wore its Ihram, accept it from me

O Allah! We ask you to be pleased with us,
reward us with the paradise and we seek your
refuge from your anger and the punishment of the fire.
6. Darood-e-Ibrahimi
O Allah! Bestow your favor on Muhammad
and on the family of Muhammad, as you
have bestowed Your favor on Ibrahim and
the family of Ibrahim,
You are Praiseworthy, Most Glorious.
O Allah! Bless Muhammad and the family of
Muhammad, as you have blessed Ibrahim
and the family of Ibrahim, You are
Praiseworthy, Most Glorious.
7. Dua

“O' Allah! I intend performing Tawaf
of your sacred house (seven rounds)
So, make my Tawaf easy for me and
O' Allah! accept it from me”
In the name of God,
the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
Stand facing the Hijr-e-Aswad
(Black Stone) with your face, chest,
and raise both hands as in Salah
and recite the following
Offer first Iste`laam by stretching
your arms with the palms
facing the Hijr-e-Aswad
Note: Green light must exactly be on your back
Turn your face to right
and formally proceed for Tawaf
Male pilgrims are required

Ramal refers to the practice of walking quickly
(not running) ,
lifting the legs forcefully and sticking out the chest
while moving the shoulders during tawaf,
like as to imitate a warrior.
Performing Ramal is sunnah for the first three rounds
before returning to normal walking pace
for the final four rounds.
If Ramal is not performed in first round,
perform it in second and third, and if not performed in
first three rounds, then don`t perform in last four.
Ramal is “Makrooh” to perform in all the seven rounds.
Neglecting Ramal will not invalidate the Tawaf.
During Tawaf, from Hijr-e-Aswad to Rukn-e-
Yamani, recite 3rd or 4th Kalma, Darood, Zikr,
Quran`s Verses, Astaghfaar, etc.,
(salience is also acceptable)
From Rukn-e-Yamani to
Hijr-e-Aswad recite only
the following dua
in each round
O Allah! give us in this world what is good
and in the next what is good,
and protect us from the punishment of Hell-fire
And admit us in the paradise (Jannah)
with the righteous,
O you, the Almighty the most forgiving,
the Lord of the worlds!

when a pilgrim reach to Marwah Hill,
it is counted as one circuit,
then from Marwah to Safa is second circuit,
again from Safa to Marwah is third circuit
…… In this way a pilgrim complete
seven circuits just in
three and half rounds
Distance from Safa to Marwah = 450 meters
Thus, Total Walk = 450 meters X 7 = 3.15 Km

If a pilgrim make long gap, he/she will have to
perform all the 7-Circuits again
However, During the Saa`ee, at pray time
the pilgrim must offer the pray behind the Imam,
and then perform remaining circuits of the Sa`ee
Turn your face towards Baitullah and recite
the following Dua
“There is none truly worthy of worship except
Allah alone, without partner.
To Him belongs all sovereignty and all praise.
He alone gives life and causes death,
and He is All-Powerful over everything.
There is none truly worthy of worship except
Allah alone, without partner. He has fulfilled
His promise, and helped His servant,
and He alone has defeated the confederates.”

It contain different types
of all the Ibaa`adat. e.g., Auraad, Waza`if,

“Whoever has the provisions and the means
to convey him to Allah’s House

Signs of Accepted Hajj
The Pilgrim Must
1. Make tawa for all his sin by heart
2. The pilgrim must perform the acts of Hajj
perfectly according to Sunnah
3. Avoid keenly the prohibited acts completely
4. Avoid hypocrisy & show off
5. Bear Hajj expenses from Halal Income
If the Pilgrim`s inhabitance
on din improve after Hajj,
then his/her Hajj is
“ Hajj-e-Mabroor”
Hajj-e-Badal
Act of performing compulsory obligation of
Hajj on the behalf of someone else
1. One can perform Hajj-e-Badal, if he/she
has already performed his/her own Hajj
2. The Niyyah (intention) of hajj should be
made on behalf of Aamir while wearing
Ihram
3. Hajj-e-Badal can be performed by one
Muslim person (Mamur) only for another
single Muslim person (Aamir), like Heir for
inherited, etc.
4. Hajj-e-Badal shall be started from the
country of Aamir
5. For whom Hajj-e-Badal is to be performed,
Hajj on that person (Aamir) should be Fard
6. Hajj-e-Badal can only be performed by the
order of and at the expenses of Aamir.
Hajj is compulsory to each of the individual
Muslim who owns istita'ah (ability).
The pilgrim must have sufficient supplies
for himself as well as for his family that he
leaves behind.
Every Muslim who has achieved the
requirements must prepare themselves to
perform Hajj.
The pilgrim must write bequest as per
Sunnah, must forgive the others and must
ask others to forgive him/her.
Moreover, the pilgrim should not be under
debt.

the pilgrims assume Ihram again,

Hajj is fard on wealthy women
but with her real Mahram
A widow is not allowed to embark on Hajj
in the period of Iddah
A woman in the state of menses
can assume Ihram after taking a bath,
forming intention for Hajj and reciting Talbiyah,

Note: Minimum Hajj age requirement
according to shariah is puberty
The guardian/parent should make the intention of entering
Ihram for Hajj on behalf of the child (boy/girl),
if he/she is under the age of discernment
Wrap the infant in a white Ihram cotton sheet,
and pamper too, a conscious child must wear
two cotton sheets of Ihram like elders
The guardian is to manage the affairs and perform
the rituals on the behalf of infant which includes
reciting Talbiyah, Performing Tawaf and Saa`ee
by picking up the infant on shoulders,
Feeding Zamzam, Shaving/trimming Head,
Stoning at Jamarat, and sacrificing the animal
However, the conscious child is required to perform
all the rituals themselves including standing on Arafat,
spending night in Mina and Muzdalifah,
and performing Tawaf and Saa’ee, etc.
Note: there is no penalty on child, if perform any prohibitive act

2. Assume Ihram for performing Hajj
One of the white sheet (Izar) is wrapped around
the waist, and covers the area between
the navel and feet, the other sheet (Rida) is meant for
upper half of the body, covering shoulders to navel.
Wear sandals or slippers.
Women wear scarf and gown
on simple clothes
but the scarf should not touch the face.
Wear comfortable canvas shoes.
