Duties consist of waiting for orders of trucks with products , unloading with
hilo then inspecting for damaged skids or unsanitary items. The packing slip is
checked to make sure that the correct amount of skids match so they can be put into
the log book. A home is created for all the skids, they are then broken down so they
can be quarantined because they are raw materials. About 19 skids are received
weighing of about 50-100lbs each. Samples are taken according to the amount of lot
numbers each one has. I then have to take out a certain amount of powder so it can
be sent for inspection. Once it has been done, a home is found again and I have to
wait for samples to be approved to put QC approved labels to be used for
production. This is daily for a fast paced growing company. Also I have to keep
track of inventory of the amount of product that we have to run production. There
are various products being used in production which makes it difficult as we run
products for different companies.

Duties consist of receiving orders brought to me by a picker to be prepared for
shipping. The orders consist of Monitors, Printers, Rams, Laptops, Servers ,Railings,
Speakers , PC, etc. Responsible for packing fragile packages individually by using
Insta-pak, bubble mailers, bubble wrap, brown paper etc. I am also trained to service
machine Sealed Air Insta-pak Speedy Packer for standard issues. Use of sales with POS
system in order to see the age of an order, create a label, look for customer notes, to see
if they paid for a certain shipping service or if they want a blind shipment, drop
shipment etc. In charge of keeping stock up to date which stems from the components
used for Insta-pak machines to the tools required to fix machine boxes needed to pack
bubble wrap, envelopes ,labels ,tape ,corrugated ,film used for packaging certain
products.
