WHAT IS SBM?
-it refers to a process where school
leaders, teachers, parents, and
community members work together to
ensure that schools meet the educational
needs of its students.
IMPORTANCE of Volunteerism, community
outreach, and extension programs to SBM:
1. They promote a collaborative and inclusive
approach to education, which is essential for the
development of successful students.
2. Schools can ultimately achieve their goals of
academic excellence and social development for
students by involving different stakeholders in the
educational process and fostering a supportive
environment.

DEFINITION:
>>Volunteerism refers to the practice of offering
one's services or time for the betterment of society
without a financial reward.
>>It includes activities such as mentoring
students, participating in extracurricular activities,
assisting teachers, and supporting school
fundraising events.
IMPORTANCE:
1. It aims to tap the skills and knowledge of
parents, guardians, or community members
to contribute to the school's programs and
activities.
2. Volunteers also provide a platform for
students to be exposed to different types of
role models, which can inspire them to
pursue different career paths.

OUTREACH
DEFINITION:
>>Community outreach refers to the practice of
engaging with the community to promote
awareness, advocacy, and participation in
social causes.
IMPORTANCE:
1. Through community outreach, schools can
develop programs that are tailored towards the
specific needs of the community, thus making
them more meaningful and effective.
2. By doing so, schools can foster a sense of
belonging among community members, which
can contribute to the overall wellbeing of
students.

assessment was
conducted and an
outreach program was
held last March 26, 2023
(Sunday) in the community
of our Aeta Mag-anchi of
Sitio Kaging, Brgy. Sto
Nino, Bamban, Tarlac.
EXTENSION
PROGRAM
DEFINITION:
>>Extension refers to the process of
extending or transferring knowledge,
skills, and technologies from the
university or academe to the community.
IMPORTANCE:
1. It aims at improving community
engagement, as well as enhancing the
academic and social outcomes for students.
2. It also help to create a positive relationship
between the school and the community, which
contributes to a nurturing and supportive
learning environment for students.

MENTORING PRACTICE
TEACHERS
A focus group discussion titled "Retooling Teachers in
the Face of the New Norm" was held using the MS
Teams Application. Educators Training and Workshop
on Supporting Learners' Mental Health and Well-
Being" to Samberga Elementary School teachers.
TSU-College of Education visited Sto. Cristo
Integrated School as a response to their
request for educational assistance
