Introduction
 A resident of Colorado’s Douglas County region, John
Michael “Mike” Tolleson is an information technology
account manager with Cisco Systems in Centennial,
Colorado. In addition to his work at Cisco, John
Michael Tolleson engages with professional
organizations such as the Colorado Technology
Association (CTA).
The CTA was established to create a strategic network
of technology professionals hailing from every corner
of Colorado. The organization maintains a number of
signature programs to promote progress in the field,
including the Women in Technology Conference. The
next edition will take place June 7 at the Spruce
Mountain Ranch in Larkspur.

 The full-day retreat brings together some of the most
innovative thinkers in the industry, including executive-
level professionals and tech community leaders.
Women are provided a platform from which to discuss
common challenges, effective styles of leadership, and
recent or upcoming technological innovations, while
also having ample opportunities for networking.
