● India is much proud of its eco- spiritualism.
● Belief of Tribal communities in existence of gods in
Nature.
E.g.: Chipko Movement, 1937
● The clearing of areas in sacred groves to make way for
temples.
● Shift in focus to idol rather than nature itself.
E.g.: Palitana Shetrungi Mountain

7. What we can do on Personal level
● Our routine (plastic, transportation, water)
● Planting and taking care of tree (Terrace garden, Miyawaki
technique)
● Minimalistic lifestyle:

8. • In the modern educational system, younger generations are not
learning to respect local traditions and belief in the cultural importance
of sacred groves. Many now view the practices of the past as
superstition.
• We are turning consumerist.
• We should stay hopeful and human personal attempts should
be continued.
• ‘Student Today are Leaders of Tomorrow.’
