18. HAVING AN UNDERSTANDING OF SEXUAL CONSENT IS
IMPORTANT FROM A NUMBER OF REASONS
So you know what behaviour is criminal and what is not
So you know if someone has committed a crime against
you (or not)
So you understand that a person must be capable of giving
consent; otherwise it is not consent
And that sex without consent is rape or sexual assault
19.
20. First responders…
We have 14 staff trained to advise you
and support you if you are, or think you
have been sexually assaulted
21. If you do not want to involve the police
We can investigate and take
appropriate action (i.e.
Suspension).
You can report anonymously
(without naming yourself) via a
form available on Moodle
