Voorspelling van de drukte op een locatie op basis van:

Veiligheidsincidenten melden in de app
Het melden van veiligheidsincidenten is zeer
belangrijk. Naast dat dit wettelijk verplicht is,
is het ook belangrijk om de veiligheid steeds
verder te verbeteren.
Medewerkers in het veld (technicians,
monteurs) hebben lang niet altijd de
mogelijkheid om ter plekke een
veiligheidsincident te melden. De VZ app
brengt daar nu verandering in. Op elke plek
en elk moment eenvoudig een melding
maken waarbij ook direct een foto van de
situatie kan worden toegevoegd.

Verdere ontwikkeling van Smart Building en de VodafoneZiggo-app
om onze medewerkers te helpen verbonden te blijven met ons
bedrijf, hen te ondersteunen bij hun dagelijkse werk en de

Smart Buildings are a key contributor to carbon
emissions and as a large real estate holder Vodafone
wanted to improve the efficiency of their buildings as
well as improving the working environment. This
became even more critical with COVID-19 as the
requirements for managing occupation increased.
Prior to the pandemic, an advanced building
management system which had been installed at the
VodafoneZiggo central office in Utrecht, was rapidly
enhanced to provide an advanced solution for COVID-
19 building operations.
The Solution
In just 3 months, Vodafone Business created a
comprehensive proof of concept for our central office in
Utrecht with a desk booking system, movement sensing
and environmental monitoring of air quality and energy
use. The solution provides real time heat maps and
analytics, helping us to manage the building more
efficiently, and gives us insight to help design spaces to
better meet our employees needs. The COVID-19
Pandemic created further opportunities for innovation
such as adding safety features including distance
monitoring and occupancy control.

Situation:
• In 2022 we have launched a Smart building proposition
• The introduction of this proposition was driven by COVID, the disrupted energy market and the war on talent and interest in the solution we
use in our head office.
• Proposition focuses on Hybrid Working solutions, data insights of building usage (energy, smart cleaning, occupancy) and people well being
• The proposition uses our capabilities in the domain of collaboration solutions and Internet of Things.
Complication:
• By doing this we are expanding horizontally into adjacent markets, resulting in a different competitive landscape as well as less familiar
customer needs.
• We understand that in order to capitalize on this opportunity, we need to further develop the proposition.
• We acknowledge that we don't have all capabilities in house to create a complete proposition and are evaluating what the next steps should
be.
