Playing instruments from age three and writing songs from age six, Seattle
based musician, FOGG, is far from an amateur artist despite his almost
nonexistent presence on social media or streaming platforms. He is the
definition of a hidden gem, and you have the chance to discover him early
on! With heavy influence ranging back from 80s punk to the 2000s and
early 2010s alternative and indie rock, his music will immediately bring
back a familiar feeling but with a distinct classically trained voice that's
bold yet gentle and dynamic. His vocals can compare to Bad Sun's lead
vocalist, Christo Bowman while his instrumentals are held together by
strong guitar and strategic synths like The Strokes. Stringing from his
influences, FOGG presents a mix of modern indie rock with post-punk
influences, and very carefully thought out lyrics. He's proficient in a range
of instruments including the guitar, drums, bass, keys/synths, lap steel,
and banjo. He is well versed in recording arts, mixing and mastering all of
his recordings himself.
FOGG is an extreme perfectionist, spending the majority of his time
working on and perfecting his debut album which is set to release in the
beginning of next year under his band's name, The Blooms. He describes
the vision for his album as “undeniable” and his goal is for listeners that
prefer other genres to think, “this isn’t my style of music but this is really
good!” In the mean time, keep an eye out for The Blooms' singles set to
release at the end of this year!
