This document provides information about the institutions of the state according to the 1945 Constitution of Indonesia. It discusses the following institutions: 1. The People's Consultative Assembly (MPR) which has 550 members consisting of the Regional Representative Council (DPD) and the House of Representatives (DPR). The MPR has the authority to amend and enact the constitution, inaugurate the president and vice president, and impeach the president and vice president. 2. The DPR which is elected through general elections and has the legislative, budgetary and oversight functions. 3. The DPD which is elected by each province and represents the provinces. The DPD can propose bills related to regional autonomy. 4

Sistem
Politik
Sistem Politik dapat diartikan sebagai keseluruhan
kegiatan politik di dalam negara atau masyarakat yang
mana kegiatan tersebut berupa proses alokasi nilai-
nilai dasar kepada masyarakat dan menunjukan pola
hubungan yang fungsional di antara kegiatan-kegiatan
politik tersebut.
Menurut Pamudji, sistem adalah suatu kebulatan
atau keseluruhan yang kompleks atau teroganisir,
suatu himpunan atau perpaduan hal-hal atau
bagian-bagian yang membentuk suatu kebulatan
atau keseluruhan yang kompleks dan utuh.
Secara etimologis kata politik berasal dari bahsa
Yunani yaitu polis yang berarti kota yang
berstatus negara kota. Dalam bahsa Arab, istilah
politik diartikan sebagai siyasah yang bearti
strategi.
