AT&T Adds New Sites, Upgrades Network Across Maryland
4G LTE Expansion Will Give AT&T Customers and FirstNet Subscribers Better Access to
Mobile Internet

bigboostin wirelessconnectivity thisyear.We’ve added new cell sitesacrossMaryland toenhance
the state’s4G LTE coverage andhelpgive residents andfirstresponders faster,more reliable
wirelessservice. Ourinvestmentwill helpcustomersgetthe mostoutof theirmobile devices.

East NewMarket,DorchesterCounty,nearMount HollyRoadand Fox Ridge Road

These newsitesare amongan estimated 364 networkupgradeswe made inMarylandin2019.

These enhancementsalsobringFirstNetBand14 spectrumto the area. Band 14 isnationwide,high-
qualityspectrumsetaside bythe governmentspecificallyforFirstNet.Itssignal coverslarger
geographicareaswithlessinfrastructure tobettersupportrural communities,anditcan better
penetrate buildingsandwallsinmore urbanareasas comparedto higher-MHzspectrum.Whennot
inuse by FirstNetsubscribers,AT&TcustomerscanenjoyBand14’s addedcoverage andcapacity.
