Irregular verbs have different past forms:

• To make negative sentences in the past, use
didn’t + base form:
I didn’t play tag. I played hide and seek.
I didn’t watch films. I watched cartoons.
I didn’t grow up in Taguatinga. I grew up in Ceilândia.
I didn’t do my homework.
