11. CONCLUSIONS
• ICT innovations for active and healthy ageing show social and economic returns:
support caring at home, ageing well, productivity, quality of care and life
• Investing in digital for demographic change can generate growth and jobs, and
social cohesion
• Organisational innovation and technological innovation determine path for
success
• Policy leadership, involvement of key stakeholders, developing business models,
involving users (older people, carers and professionals), and solving
interoperability and privacy issues are key for implementing and scaling up these
innovations
• EC can support Member States:
• Dissemination
• Mutual learning (exchange good practices)
• Developing policy frameworks
• Providing funding
