The Innovation Task Force (ITF) fosters innovation within the transportation security ecosystem by integrating stakeholders to identify and demonstrate emerging solutions that improve security effectiveness and efficiency. ITF has demonstrated and deployed multiple technologies like automated travel document checkers and biometric authentication to enhance security while improving the passenger experience.
