U23 Lineup of the week
MLS publishes the team of the week every week, I want another one with only U23
players
Show to promote and analyze U23 players
Top-young players performances
Charles Boehm writes articles after every week on top-young
players performances, I want to make it visual, a quick show
for Youtube channel, post clips of the show in Instagram and
Twitter.
• Charles Boehm already works for MLS and creates content for young
players.

• MLS own the rights of their games highlights.

• MLS have right of publicity of the players.

• MLS has the channels. (youtube, instagram, twitter)

• MLS has the production equipment.
Why this project?
Value for MLS
• Young players are more important than people think, they are the future of the company and
their development as professionals needs to be very effective so that they don’t get lost in the
process.
• Promoting young players might inspire them to keep doing things the right way and help their
confidence.
• You might have the next Christian Pulisic or Alphonso Davies in the league that can be sold to
a European team for a good amount of money, and he would become an ambassador for
North American soccer in the world. A player like that helps considerably the growth of the
sport from where he is, as the league gains credibility and more people will be interested in the
sport.
Objectives
• 5k views on youtube channel per video in 1 week
after release. (10 weekly videos)

• 5k likes on Instagram posts/clips in 2 days after
release.

• 300 interactions in Twitter in the day of release.

Intangible objective
Raise awareness on the public about MLS young players, make them feel supported and
inspire them to keep improving.
Risks
• Young player gets famous overnight and lets fame get to his head and loses focus.

• Young player gets excessively criticized in social media and lets the critics get to his head.

• Money invested in project
The studio utilities (energy, water, etc) is expected to be $200

Equipment is only a one time expense of $5000

Food and drinks $275

Expenses
MLS YouTube Channel has almost 700k subscribers, and knowing brands usually pay $2,000
per 100k channel subscribers, the income from the sponsor of the show would be around
$14,000.
If we expect 5 weekly videos with 5k views per video, that would be 25k views per week,
or 100k views per month.
YouTube pays in average $0.18 per ad view and $0.05 per video view.
This represent $23,000 income for ad views and video views.

  • 3. Show to promote and analyze U23 players Top-young players performances Charles Boehm writes articles after every week on top-young players performances, I want to make it visual, a quick show for Youtube channel, post clips of the show in Instagram and Twitter.
  • 4. • Charles Boehm already works for MLS and creates content for young players. • MLS own the rights of their games highlights. • MLS have right of publicity of the players. • MLS has the channels. (youtube, instagram, twitter) • MLS has the production equipment. Why this project?
  • 5. Value for MLS • Young players are more important than people think, they are the future of the company and their development as professionals needs to be very effective so that they don’t get lost in the process. • Promoting young players might inspire them to keep doing things the right way and help their confidence. • You might have the next Christian Pulisic or Alphonso Davies in the league that can be sold to a European team for a good amount of money, and he would become an ambassador for North American soccer in the world. A player like that helps considerably the growth of the sport from where he is, as the league gains credibility and more people will be interested in the sport.
  • 6. Objectives • 5k views on youtube channel per video in 1 week after release. (10 weekly videos) • 5k likes on Instagram posts/clips in 2 days after release. • 300 interactions in Twitter in the day of release. (likes, rt, comments) Intangible objective Raise awareness on the public about MLS young players, make them feel supported and inspire them to keep improving. Risks • Young player gets famous overnight and lets fame get to his head and loses focus. • Young player gets excessively criticized in social media and lets the critics get to his head. • Money invested in project
  • 7. The studio utilities (energy, water, etc) is expected to be $200 Equipment is only a one time expense of $5000 Food and drinks $275 Payroll is $2,500 Expenses
  • 8. MLS YouTube Channel has almost 700k subscribers, and knowing brands usually pay $2,000 per 100k channel subscribers, the income from the sponsor of the show would be around $14,000. If we expect 5 weekly videos with 5k views per video, that would be 25k views per week, or 100k views per month. YouTube pays in average $0.18 per ad view and $0.05 per video view.
