2. INTRODUCTION
ATM tracking systems is very important activity tool in daily life. The ATM location in form of latitude
and longitude .GPS coordinates are the values of a location. This system is very sufficient for outdoor
application purposes.
A security system is attached to the ATM to make the system more sufficient. A buzzer is installed in
ATM if the ATM is lost in a house or outdoors, we can find it using mobile application by pressing a
digital button on mobile application.
Multiple sensors are used in order to monitor the status of lost ATM. LDR sensors, Moisture sensors and
lasers are used to find more accurate position of the lost ATM.
Flex sensors are used to find the damage on ATM card. All this data is accessed using a mobile
application. This system is connected to cloud server using esp12e module.
5. ESP8266:
• NodeMCU ESP8266:
NodeMCU is an open-source Lua based firmware and development board specially targeted for IoT based
Applications. . It is a low cost wi-fi microchip with microcontroller capability.

8. GPS:
NEO-6MV2 GPS Module:
The NEO-6MV2 is a GPS (Global Positioning System) module and is used for navigation. The
module simply checks its location on earth and provides output data which is longitude and latitude of
its position. These flexible and cost effective receivers offer numerous connectivity options in a
miniature (16 x 12.2 x 2.4 mm) package. The compact architecture, power and memory options
make NEO-6 modules ideal for battery operated mobile devices with very strict cost and space
constraints. Its Innovative design gives NEO-6MV2 excellent navigation performance even in the
most challenging environments.
9. Pin Name Description
VCC Positive power pin
RX UART receive pin
TX UART transmit pin
GND Ground
NEO-6MV2 GPS Module Pin Configuration:
The module has four output pins and we will describe the function each pin of them below. The powering of module and
communication interface is done through these four pins.

11. BUZZER:
A buzzer or beeper is an audio signaling device, which may be mechanical, electromechanical, or piezoelectric. Typical uses of
buzzers and beepers include alarm devices, timers and confirmation of user input such as a mouse click or keystroke. Buzzer is an
integrated structure of electronic transducers, DC power supply, widely used in computers, printers, copiers, alarms, electronic
toys, automotive electronic equipment, telephones, timers and other electronic products for sound devices. Active buzzer 5V Rated
power can be directly connected to a continuous sound, this section dedicated sensor expansion module and the board in
combination, can complete a simple circuit design, to "plug and play .
12. SPECIFICATIONS:
• On-board passive buzzer
• On-board 8550 triode drive
• Can control with single-chip microcontroller IO directly
• Working voltage: 5V
• Board size: 22 (mm) x12 (mm)
13. FLEX SENSOR:
Flex Sensors are commonly used in Robotic Gloves and other Robotic Control application. It can be used to analyze how much a
material is being bent. This flex sensor is 2.2” long and has two output leads which acts like a variable resistor. That is the
resistance between two pins change based on how much the sensor is bent. It is commonly used along with another resistor to
build a voltage divider circuit and then obtain a variable voltage based on the change in resistance of the sensor.
14. FLEX Sensor Features and Specifications:
Operating voltage: 0-5V
Power rating : 0.5Watt (continuous), 1 Watt (peak)
Operating temperature: -45ºC to +80ºC
Flat Resistance: 25K Ω
Resistance Tolerance: ±30%
15. CONCLUSIONS
The GPS and sensor based security system for ATM cards is more secure and fast responded as compared to the other system like
personal wallets. Security plays an important role in our day to day life and it is need of the hour for all of us. Due to lack of
employment, poverty, some people are forced to involve in Robbery. Burglary in ATM centres is nowadays increasing evidently.
So Security to ATM card is a must, in order to safeguard both human lives and money. Our Design will turn out to be the perfect
solution to prevent the loss of ATM cards. We have reduced the disadvantages and our design ensures security for both human life
and money.
