- Infrastructure Explorer models the datacenter based on the physical properties of the items it contains. Once populated, it can be used to plan the deployment of new equipment, document the location of existing equipment, and provide reports on assets and capacities of the datacenter. There are two main views in Infrastructure Explorer, the floor plan view and the rack view. We’ll look at them in more detail next.
